Where I come from, prepare for a broken nose if you refer to a lady as a "Buffalo Gal." Anyway, this is a great tune to get us flatpickin. We'll start with the basic melody anyone can learn, then add alternate picking and scales!

Is there a jam track for this at a slower tempo? 90 is still a bit quick for me.

There's a slower jam track under the resources tab on this lesson, worth grabbing.

Memorization comes from playing it at a tempo you can think at. If you need the tab, you're playing it faster than you know it.

Take the capo off and play it in open G a few times, then put it back. Helped me hear it.
