How to Play Banjo Harmony

banjo advanced

In this lesson

There's making music together, and THEN there's playing banjo harmony together! Banjo harmonies, or twin banjos, aren't super common (in fact, I think it's illegal in some states), but it's a challenge and I think pretty doggone cool!

Just want to say the multiple camera angles make all the difference. I could actually see what the right hand was doing.

The pinky thing goes away, I promise. Took me about three months.

Memorization comes from playing it at a tempo you can think at. If you need the tab, you're playing it faster than you know it.

Try it without the pick for a few passes. Sounds silly but it told me my right hand was doing too much.
