Come PickAlong with me! This is one of my favorite Christmas hymns. You may recognize this melody from other hymns, such as "Jesus! What a Friend for Sinners". The melody itself is called "Hyfrydol", a Welsh hymn tune composed by Rowland Prichard in 1830 that translates to "pleasant" or "cheerful".
