It's always good to learn songs out of "C" position, but especially cool when they're in "Drop C" tuning. That's what we're doing with this one, then we slap a capo on the 2nd fret to play in the key of D. The first A and B parts are fairly straight ahead, then the second A and B parts have a few tricks thrown in. You'll definitely get a melodic workout with this one!

    Anybody have a tip for the left hand stretch in here? My pinky is not cooperating.

    There's a slower jam track under the resources tab on this lesson, worth grabbing.

    Metronome at 60 and no faster until it's clean twice through. Boring but it works.

    Don't force the pinky stretch. Move your thumb down behind the neck first and the stretch mostly takes care of itself.
