Though this tune is traditionally a waltz, this particular version is built in 4/4 time and jazzed up a bit. It's in the key of E minor, and features lots of blues notes as well as an "up the neck" version of the chorus.

    Don't force the pinky stretch. Move your thumb down behind the neck first and the stretch mostly takes care of itself.

    I had that exact problem. Turned out my thumb was anchoring in the wrong spot.

    Take the capo off and play it in open G a few times, then put it back. Helped me hear it.
