Tired of pickin' in G? Good...me too, so this week we're gonna learn Beaumont Rag in the key of C using some Scruggs-style licks. I really like the B part, where we'll really employ those inside rolls to make folks' ears tingle!

    I keep losing the timing when I add the backup. Does anyone count this out loud or is that just me?

    Same here at first. What fixed it for me was practicing that measure by itself for a week, no B part at all.

    Try it without the pick for a few passes. Sounds silly but it told me my right hand was doing too much.
