This is my full session from our 2026 Virtual Mandolin Camp, which was themed around really wringing a scale for all it's worth! I focused on using the G Major scale to build a solo on the tune Golden Slippers, first looking at the chords of the song to determine our target notes, then using scales to fill the gaps in between. Don't miss our next virtual camp—check out all upcoming events at BanjoBenEvents.com!

Just want to say the multiple camera angles make all the difference. I could actually see what the right hand was doing.

Metronome at 60 and no faster until it's clean twice through. Boring but it works.

There's a slower track in the resources for this one. If you want it slower still, let me know and I'll cut one.
