C’mon Ben, your just trying to sell stuff. Seriously though, great series, Maybe I should get one of them humidifyer things.

  3. Ben Clark Leader ·

As a man who makes a living by selling stuff, I’m guilty as charged. However, THE most common question I receive via email or down at the store is: What do I need to get started playing an instrument? I hope these vids help folks answer that question.

  4. Mike Reisz ·

I was kind of hoping the video would explain to my wife why I NEED another guitar.

  5. Jeffrey Watts ·

My buddy hopes that if he dies before his wife, that she doesn’t sell his instruments for what he told her he paid for them.

  6. Ben Clark Leader ·

You just have her call me and I’ll close the deal.

  7. Jenni Gribble ·

Gosh, I wish I knew about those tone guards before I made a couple of nicks in the back of my Martin

  8. Ben Clark Leader ·

Ouch, sorry about that @Jenni! Glad to see you here on the forum!

  9. Jeff Wilson ·

Welcome Jenni! There’s a lot of good helpful info here on the forum… and some not so helpful but it’s all in good fun!

  10. Jim McAlister ·

Do you ever discuss Classical Nylon strings vs Regular Steel string

  11. Ben Clark Leader ·

No, I don’t, simply because they aren’t very relevant in the bluegrass world.

  12. Sam Campbell ·

do you still use capos on electric guitars?

  13. Ben Clark Leader ·

Yeah, folks do at times if they’re needing to get certain open string sounds, but it’s less common for sure.

Dim7 arpeggio. I didn’t see that one coming. I had to go back and watch the video for it. Nicely done!

Thank you so much Michael Mark for doing that! I’m excited to learn it
