This is a hot flatpicking break to a classic hymn written in the 1860's. I think it makes an excellent bluegrass tune, and this one has some licks in it that will surely turn a head or two!

Great question. That's a slide going into the B part — I play it as a slide but a hammer-on works fine if that's cleaner for you. Do what sounds right.
