My Savior's Love

guitar intermediate

In this lesson

Man, I love this hymn! I wrote this arrangement with the flatpicker who's just starting to play solos in mind, and this is a great example of how we can use crosspicking and chord shapes to play melodies conveniently. We'll go up the neck for the second verse, but don't think that means it's difficult—you'll be slinging the high notes in no time!

Ben, this one finally made the timing click for me. Been fighting it for a month. Thank you.

Glad it clicked! That timing is the whole point of this lesson, so if that landed you got what you came for.

Same here at first. What fixed it for me was practicing that measure by itself for a week, no B part at all.

Not just you. I still count this one out loud and I've been at it four years.

The pinky thing goes away, I promise. Took me about three months.
