This is a basic version of Old Joe Clark, where we'll play the simple melody of the tune while working on some great right hand techniques, such as shuffle picking! We'll also take what we learn there and apply another "fiddle-type" technique...double stops! As a mando picker, you need to be able to play multiple strings at the same time, and this is just the tune to get you going!

    Try measure 3 on its own at half tempo, and keep your right hand rolling even when the left hand is behind. The right hand is the metronome.
