Using Counterpoint on Banjo

I was first introduced to counterpoints as I memorized Bach Two-Part Inventions as a kiddo. They can be complex, and they are awesome. We're going to borrow a bit of that theory to help make our chord changes more interesting. Enjoy!

    My fingers know it but my brain doesn't yet — I can't play it without the tab in front of me. How do you all commit these to memory?

    Take the capo off and play it in open G a few times, then put it back. Helped me hear it.
